Two Leading Young Performers: Arun Ramamurthy & Rohan Krishnamurthy

ARUN RAMAMURTHY (Brooklyn, NY) is a multifaceted violinist, composer and educator. He has performed internationally with luminaries like Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna, Sudha Ragunathan, Subhankar Banerjee, Reggie Workman, Kenny Werner, Amir El Saffar among others at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center and more.

ROHAN KRISHNAMURTHY (Oakland, CA),
one of the most prominent Indian classical and cross-over artists in the South Asian diaspora. He received mridangam training from the esteemed guru, Sri. Guruvayur Dorai. Distinguished as a performer, composer, and educator, Rohan holds a Ph.D. in musicology from the Eastman School of Music and directs the RohanRhythm Percussion Studio.
