ADMISSION:

Entrance into the exhibition galleries requires a ticket or SAI Membership.

General admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students with current valid ID. Admission is free for SAI Members.

Fridays are free admission for all.

 

BEFORE YOUR VISIT

  • We encourage you to reserve time tickets ONLINE in advance of arrival.

  • Individuals with a fever, cough or any other COVID-19 symptoms, or who have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days or had close contact with anyone who is confirmed of having COVID-19 are advised to stay at home.

DURING YOUR VISIT

Per CDC guidelines facial coverings are no longer mandatory. Any visitor who prefers to wear one, is welcome to do so.

South Asia Institute is wheelchair accessible.

Anyone requiring a step-free entrance can use the ground-level elevator. Small backpacks and handbags are permitted in the galleries. Large bags, luggage, Glass containers, jars, aerosol cans, and hazardous materials are not permitted. Food, drinks and smoking, including electronic cigarettes is not permitted in the building.

Photography without flash, and short videos for private, non-commercial use is permitted. Photographs and video cannot be published, sold, reproduced, transferred, distributed, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever.

Visitors may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded. By visiting, visitors grant SAI permission to use photographs and/or audiovisual recordings in which visitors appear for archival, documentary, publicity, advertising, or other purposes.

Wagons, skateboards and scooters, including e-scooters are not permitted. Other prohibited items include those items that could put the art or visitors at risk, to be determined at the sole discretion of the SAI Team.
