Laura Kina and Shelly Jyoti's association goes back to 2009. Since then both of them have been closely working with each other, working in different shows to exhibit Jyoti's textile works chronicling the history and the impact of indigo.

In this latest tour at the South Asia Institute, Curator of Shelly Jyoti's Indigo: The Blue Gold and Vincent de Paul Professor at The Art School at DePaul University, Laura Kina will give insight to the works displayed in the exhibition, its significance, and the curatorial approach she used.
