The Chicago Cultural Alliance presents the fourth annual World Dumpling Fest

South Asia Institute is proud to present the Chicago band, Do The Needful who will close out this year’s World Dumpling Fest starting at 8:15 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Do The Needful reinterprets classic 1960s and 70s Bollywood songs with an influence of punk rock, retro spaghetti western and jazz music.

World Dumpling Fest celebrates diverse cultures throughout Chicago and the world with music, dance, and of course, dumplings! This all-ages event features food, music, and local small businesses sharing their cultural identities through their respective crafts. World Dumpling Fest features diverse cultural “dumplings” from +10 neighborhood-based restaurants in and around Chicago.

World Dumpling Fest is also a fundraiser event held to support the work of the Chicago Cultural Alliance with the mission of supporting, promoting and advocating for over 40 centers of cultural heritage from around the Chicagoland area including South Asia Institute. We hope that you will join us.
