At South Asia Institute, your health and safety is of the highest priority.
Effective at 6pm on March 13, 2020, the Institute will be temporarily closed to support the efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) as advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). We are tentatively scheduling reopening in early April, but we will continue to monitor the situation closely and will keep you updated on a regular basis.

Since the internet was designed to promote social interaction without the need for people to congregate or share the same physical space, during our closure we will provide you with an opportunity to engage with us through online programing. Please visit our website and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to participate in these virtual experiences.
